We have ridiculously good pork on the pasture right now. This is not your childhood bland and dry pork. This pork is notably exceptional with marbling, sweet soft fat, rich red meat. Pictures are shown below. Deposits today ($100 half, $200 whole) are for March 2023 pork.

We are excited to work with nearby Salchert Meats to butcher our pigs. Our next available pork is in early March 2023. The pork is for sale now as half- and whole-pigs. You make the deposit ($100 half, $200 whole), have a brief chat with Salchert Meats around March 6 to go over your cutting and packaging preferences, then you pickup the pork (or have us pickup for you) around March 12.

Pigs will be about 220 to 260 pounds. Our live weight price is $3.00 per pound for half-pigs and for whole-pigs.

For a whole-pig order:
-You pay Farmcraft the $200 deposit now.
-In Mid-March you pay Salchert the processing fee. This starts at about $180 for basic cut/grind/wrap, and is up to about $350 for cured hams, smoked & sliced bacon, seasoned sausage, and vacuum packaging - see the Salchert cut sheet here.
-In Mid-March you pay Farmcraft the remainder of the live weight price (230 pounds * $3.00 / pound - $200 deposit = $490).
-For a half-pig order, divide all of those by 2.
-You can pickup your pork from Salchert or have us pick it up for you.
-We will work with you as much as you need, over the phone or via email, to make it a smooth and easy process to get pork from our pastures to your freezer in the sizes, cuts and packaging you want.

This is supremely good pork. We have eaten and received feedback from customers on our pasture raised heritage breed pork, and we are now thrilled to confidently offer you a product so notably different from what you get at the grocery store - ethical, vibrantly nutritious, succulent, juicy and flavorful Farmcraft pastured pork.
